Like a hidden link, hidden content is content that’s made the same color as the background.

PBNs are websites that link to each other.

But there are many ways that the schema used to generate these snippets can be manipulated. In fact, there is an entire Google support page dedicated to it.

But from Google’s perspective, this is also what it would look like if you were lazily spamming.

They’re also known as:

10. Hidden Content.

Whether you’re giving or taking, exchanging free products (or discounts) for links is considered a link scheme by Google.

You might think that alt-tags are a no harm opportunity to use as many keywords as possible, but stuffing in this context can also hurt your site’s rankings.

There are several routes hidden content can take to end up on your site beyond being intentionally put there by the site owner.

Not only will this cause you to lose the trust of anybody who visits your site from organic search, but it will cause your website to drop in the rankings just like a Penguin or Panda penalty would.

Doorway pages are a form of cloaking.

Black hat tactics are heavily penalized by Google, whether done consciously or otherwise. Read about 17 of them that can hurt your optimization efforts.

Black hat SEO practitioners know the rules of search engine optimization and use that understanding to take shortcuts that aren’t exactly laid out in Google’s best practices.

Google is good at identifying and penalizing black hat SEO techniques, but that doesn’t stop people from trying them anyway.

It may make sense to match your page’s title every time you share a link to it because the title is what your page is about, and consistency could imply relevancy.

Content Black Hat Techniques.

While having an unsecured website can’t technically get you a Penguin or Panda penalty, it could result in the loss of your valuable rankings.

A high-quality, relevant link can drive traffic to your domain while also telling Google’s algorithm that you’re a trustworthy source.

Deceptively hidden links are a violation of Google’s guidelines. That means:

The rule of thumb is that the content is okay so long as the content is visible to both the user and the search engine.

Some black hat SEO practitioners will try to use Google’s penalty system to advance their agenda by having websites that you wouldn’t want to associate with link to you to drag down your page rank.

If you’ve been adding footer links with commercial anchor text at scale to manipulate results, Google will likely be able to identify those and penalize you for it.

14. Cloaking.

And for a good reason: spun articles degrade the quality of the internet.

Article spinning can be done either manually or using technology.

This is in juxtaposition to white hat SEO practitioners who follow Google’s Webmaster Guidelines, promote high-value content, and engage in deep keyword research to win in the SERPS.

They used to be much more prevalent in the 90s and early 2000s, particularly amongst fan pages for different tv shows, movies, musicians, etc.

For this reason, Google created a form to help you disavow links.

This way, when you go through your backlinks, you can disentangle yourself from any undesirable domains.

Here are 17 black hat practices to avoid because they can land you an algorithmic or manual penalty.

Disclaimer: all information in this article have been provided without liability or any kind of proof – it is all based on my personal humble opinion.

Create a unique text containing all these words. So, understand this: usually an SEO content writer gets around 4-5 keywords that need to be embedded into the text.

A little later I tried it on actual Search Engines, and it still works today.

Breaking Google Laws is not considered illegal, because Google is not the government and thus cannot tell you what you can or can’t do on your website.

Really appreciate your effort to show your hard earned skill to your readers, amazing!

Inverted Index.

How To Use This Black Hat SEO Technique.

Ready To Boost Your SEO ?

But, is it a good idea? I would rather use this method instead: My article “How to use SEO Optimized Images” uses the same black hat SEO technique for images, but turned it into a white hat SEO technique that actually helps your images rank in Google image results.

Tell us more about your business and we’ll tell you how we can help!

It’s not likely that Google will find out about this soon as not many people use this technique. It’s recommended to monitor how many people actually use this technique in the future. So far, I can see that many Asian-based websites use it including Russia and Ukraine. I can see this when I search for my mirrored image using the “Search Google for image” feature on the Chrome browser (click right mouse button on an image).

Interesting insights. Do you provide any unethical SEO services?

Once it becomes a common black hat technique among SEOs, this might be included in one of the Google’s future updates. I don’t see this happening in the next 4-5 years, but when it happens, your rankings for those pages you have been using mirrored images for may lose their rankings.

I developed this method in the Technical University of Cologne in Germany during my PhD studies in information sciences — part of my research was about search engine data structures, and algorithmic patterns of search engines, and then it came to me — this could be the perfect black hat SEO technique for manipulating the search engine algorithm!

What you have now on the above image is called a “ Modified Inverted Index “.

In this case, the SEO content writer gets around 300 keywords. That makes this a very hard effort and it’s very time consuming. But do it, publish it, and see what happens.

Image Mirroring.

Next, remove all the stop words such as ‘the’, ‘a’, ‘and’, ‘when’, ‘at’, ‘or’, ‘also’, ‘from’, ‘but’ etc., and then also remove all the irrelevant keywords such as ‘because’, ‘when’, ‘certain’, ‘under’, will, ‘while’, ‘have’ etc. I have developed a script for this by the way — it’s fun.

You might think, why not pretend like I am somewhere else by using all the location keywords on my website? Well, don’t forget about your IP, as Google knows where your website is located based on your host. My solution: start a company in the United States and use a U.S. host.

I really really like this article, especially your inverted index method. I will try that on some test pages. Can’t wait to see part 2 of this article.. any idea when this will be published?

The effect is the same with a little more effort. It’s worth looking into it.

If you have a marketing company located in Uzbekistan and one in San Francisco, it’s more likely in my opinion Google will rank your content higher for the company in San Francisco . I call it the Google patriotic algorithm. Google would never confirm this, and there is no proof — but it’s an educated opinion based on my observations. I saw great SEO websites with great SEO content ranking low because of their location.

Eagerly awaiting part 2, excellent article.

Chances of Google Busting You.

Incredible Black Hat SEO Techniques that Still Work Today.

And while you’re at it, live here, enjoy life. Ah yes, the visa problem if you’re not from around here. I can’t help you with that — but wait: you’re a black hat SEO! You’ll find a way, I’m sure.

This is how it works: You basically look for competitors which rank higher than you do for certain keywords on the SERP (Search Engine Result Pages). You then copy the whole text on that page and invert index it. That means you extract all the words out of that text with line breaks.

I bet you will outrank the competitor’s page. But the hardest part is to find an SEO writer willing to provide 300 keywords for an article. My advice: be ready to perform CPR on your SEO content writer when giving them keywords.

This is how an inverted index of this article could look like:
